New Construction Concrete in St. George

Building a home means a lot of concrete, and it's easier when one crew handles all of it. We pour the full package from the ground up: footings, foundation and stem walls, structural and garage slabs, then the flatwork that finishes the build. We've been doing this in St. George for over 25 years, both as the concrete sub for builders and general contractors and directly for folks building a custom home. We get the base, grade, compaction, and rebar right for our desert soil so the house sits on something solid. Give us your plans and we'll get you a free estimate.

What's included

New Construction, done the right way.

  • Footings, foundation, and stem walls poured to your plans and ready for inspection.
  • Monolithic and structural slabs, plus garage and shop slabs at the thickness the load calls for.
  • Excavation, grading, and base compaction to build a solid base under the home before we pour.
  • Rebar sized and tied for our expansive, rocky desert soil.
  • Finish flatwork to close out the build: driveway, garage apron, front entry, walkways, and patio.

Formed footings and rebar for a new custom home foundation in St. George

Why the base matters in this valley

Washington County sits on expansive, rocky desert soil that swells and shrinks as our monsoon storms come and go and the long dry heat sets back in. A new home poured on loose or poorly compacted ground is where you get settling, cracked slabs, and callbacks a year or two down the road. That's why we don't rush the part nobody sees. We excavate, grade, and compact the base, tie the rebar for the load, and place joints to control where concrete wants to crack. Do that right and the whole house has something solid to stand on.

Good to know

New Construction questions, answered.

Can you pour as the concrete sub on our builds?
Yes. Working as the concrete subcontractor for home builders and general contractors is most of what we do. We handle the whole concrete scope on your job, from footings and foundation to the finish flatwork, so you've got one dependable sub instead of juggling several.
Will you keep our pours on schedule?
That's the goal. We know a slab that slips a week holds up framing, inspection, and every trade behind it. We plan the pours around your schedule and show up ready, so the build keeps moving.
We're building a custom home, not going through a builder. Can we hire you directly?
Absolutely. We pour directly for people building a custom home all the time. Bring us your plans and we'll walk the concrete scope with you, from the foundation to the driveway and patio, and get you a free estimate.
Do you handle both the foundation and the flatwork?
Yes, and that's the advantage of one crew for the whole package. We pour the structural work first, footings, foundation, stem walls, and slabs, then come back for the driveway, apron, entry, walks, and patio that finish the build. Nothing gets handed off and lost between subs.
